Hon. Samuel Awuku spent the entire afternoon engaged in what would become a historic gathering, bringing together all eighty-seven (87) Headteachers of Basic Schools across the Akuapem North Constituency.

The meeting was more than just a routine engagement. It served as a brainstorming session to shape a comprehensive 2026 strategy aimed at strengthening basic education within the Akuapem North Municipality. From improving learning outcomes to addressing infrastructure gaps, every voice mattered at the table.

The excitement in the room was palpable. Many headteachers noted—with visible appreciation—that this was the first time a sitting Member of Parliament had engaged them collectively in such a meaningful way. Even more encouraging was Hon. Awuku’s commitment to making this an annual forum, ensuring that educators have a permanent seat at the decision-making table.

Hon. Awuku expressed sincere gratitude to the Municipal Education Directorate for facilitating this crucial engagement. Their partnership, he noted, is essential to driving real progress in the municipality’s schools.
“Together with our Headteachers, we remain committed to improving teaching and learning outcomes in the Akuapem North Municipality,” he affirmed.
